Thesis:

On Thursday gave results for its 2007 fiscal fourth quarter. IBM earned $3.95 billion from continuing operations, or $2.80 a share, on revenue of $28.9 billion, compared to $3.46 billion, or $2.26 a share on $26.26 billion in sales in the prior-year period. Among IBM's business areas, the company said global services revenue rose 17% from a year ago, while software sales increased by 12%. Time to buy.
